Cream Cheese Jalapeno Pinwheels






What You'll Need


  • one 8 ounce block cream cheese
  • one 8 ounce Crescent Dough
  • one 4 ounce can diced jalapenos
  • one Tablespoon Sugar

How to Make It


  1. Preheat oven to 375 Degrees.
  2. Combine cream cheese, jalapenos (drained), and sugar in a small bowl and mix well.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and split in half where the seam is so that you have two squares.
  4. Pinch the seams together.
  5. Spread the cream cheese on each side evenly.
  6. Roll the dough up like a hot dog.
  7. Cut the dough in about 8 slices.
  8. More or less depending on how big you want the pinwheels to be.
  9. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.

Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Over Rice






What You'll Need


  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 14oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 14 oz can cheddar soup
  • 14 oz can chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 Cup sour cream
  • 1 12 oz frozen bag broccoli florets or 4 cups fresh broccoli lightly steamed
  • 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make It


  1. Spray crockpot with cooking spray and put cream of chicken soup, cheddar soup, chicken broth, salt, cajun seasoning, and garlic salt into the crockpot.
  2. Stir the soups and seasonings together until smooth.
  3. Place the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high 3 hours.
  5. The last 30 minutes of cooking, shred the chicken with two forks and add the broccoli, sour cream, and cheese. Cook for about 30 more minutes until the broccoli is tender and heated through.
  6. Serve over white rice and garnish with more shredded cheese if desired.

Skinny Cookies and Cream Shake






What You'll Need


  • ⅔ cup skim milk (or milk of choice)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 oreo cookies
  • 1 medium frozen banana*
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar (optional)

How to Make It


  1. In a blender pulse together milk, vanilla, sugar (if using) and frozen banana until smooth.
  2. Add the oreo cookies and pulse a little until they are to desired chunkiness.
  3. Top with a little fat free cool whip or whipping cream if desired.

Hot Caramelized Onion and Bacon Dip






What You'll Need


  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 large sweet onions, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup water
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¾ cup grated remand cheese, divided (you could also use parmesan)
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to Make It


  1. In a medium sized skillet add oil, onions, and water.
  2. Cook over medium high heat until browned and caramelized adding more water as needed.
  3. Combine onions, cream cheese, mayonnaise, ½ cup grated cheese and bacon.
  4. Spread into a baking dish and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Or until top is nicely golden brown.

Sweet Island Teriyaki Chicken






What You'll Need


  • 1 pound Chicken Breasts (about 3-4 smaller sized)*
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sweet Island Teriyaki Sauce:
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup crushed pineapple
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger spice
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • Optional toppings: green onions, pineapple chunks, sesame seeds

How to Make It


  1. In a medium sized skillet heat the oil over medium high heat.
  2. Salt and pepper the chicken and add them to the skillet.
  3. Cook on each side until lightly brown and cooked throughout (165 degrees).
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside on a plate.
  5. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, crushed pineapple, garlic, ginger, onion powder, pepper, sesame seeds and cornstarch and whisk.
  6. Cook over medium high heat for about 3-4 minutes until it starts to thicken.
  7. Add the chicken back to the skillet and coat in the marinade.
  8. Serve over rice and top with optional toppings.
